Your skin may be tired because you went out last night or that you had a busy week and you are now feeling it. Regardless of the reason, it sounds like you need some time to yourself and I’m pretty sure your skin is going to be grateful for it. This routine won’t take you too long, which is also a bonus.
I would suggest you start by removing your make up and a follow up with a gentle face scrub. If you’re not wearing make up, like me, because it’s Friday and/or you don’t care :), just proceed to the scrub. Make sure to give your neck a little scrubbing, too. After the gentle exfoliation you should treat your skin to a lovely face mask. One option is to use our gorgeous Pink Clay with its firming and brightening properties. Simply mix it with your favourite floral water and a couple of drops of oil until you obtain a thick paste. Apply onto the skin and leave for 10 min, then wash off with warm water. After you’re done with the face mask be sure to apply a good moisturiser or a serum, or both! If you are using both, apply the serum first and then use the moisturiser. One of my favourites from the Kozmetics range is the Carrot Face & Neck Elixir. It’s a lovely blend of precious oils like Rosehip, Argan and, of course, Carrot Oil and it absorbs wonderfully into the skin without leaving it feeling greasy. I use it every day before bed but you can use it occasionally, when you feel that your skin needs a little boost. Don’t forget about a little treat for the skin around the eyes like the soothing Calendula & Lavender Eye Treatment.
Make yourself a cup of tea or pour a glass of wine and enjoy some “you time”.
